File Motion for restitution reduction help

I have 34,000 in restitution to pay to the goverment. This is not tax related. I tried to purches a home and towrds the end of loan approval my restituion showed up. It not on any of my credit reports at all and wasnt on the initial pre-approval. My question is...what would be diffrent option to get a restitution reduction. They told me that i can write a motion and then turn it n to them.

I am not familiar with anything that would create the debt. Could you give us a better idea of why you owe the gov't so much money? How you found out about it? How your lender found out about it?

What does it do to your DITI?

Err... I would disclose this. Unjust enrichment would create a restitution. I'm not really familiar with restitution.
