I still can't relax until it's funded and I have the keys in my hand, but the rollercoaster ride is coming to an end!

I'm a wreck! Scared, excited, and still waiting for someone to say I'm being "Punk'd"!!!

Please keep me and the kids in your thoughts and prayers until this ride is officially over!

I've spent a lot of years rolling with the punches, being taken for granted, and still found compassion to help others when I could... and I still do. As a single mom, one would expect that I'd be the one needing help from others, but, aside from the assistance with closing costs (and myfico), I've done this on my own...

I did it! Docs are signed!!

I will get keys on Friday!

Unfortunately, I'm not getting any money back at all. The seller did pay some closing costs that he wasn't asked to, so I am getting a $600 credit in my escrow acct.

My interest rate is 3.75% which could've been a 3.5% if there hadn't been all these hold ups, BUT the taxes dropped from $626 to $475/yr and HOA is $37 not the $45 on the mls. So I will be paying less than I expected. With everything, including HOA (excluding utilities)... less than $400/mo! I'm sooo excited!

Congrats!! Is there a reason you have to wait until Friday to get keys? I've read on here some people signing and then getting keys a few days later. I've always gotten keys at closing

2 reasons... it's a short sale and seller's bank needs to sign off on the loan and my funds won't be released until all is signed off and ready to be recorded.

They do one last employment verification before handing over the check... I just need to ensure I don't get fired between now and then!
