USDA FL Approval Process DELAYED!!!

I am super, super frustrated today!! Yesterday, I decided go to Zillow and post a question under their "advice" page with reference to filings submitted to USDA here in FL and what their turnaround time is. Well, someone kindly responded being that they are in the same predicament as my husband and I. Their file was submitted on 10/3 and ours (through our LO) on 10/5. This person provided me with the number directly to USDA Office here in FL and low and behold their recording CLEARLY states that they are currently only looking at files for "Guaranteed Loans" that were submitted to their office on 9/12-9/22!!!

It is now OCTOBER 23rd!!! Which means our file may or MAY NOT be seen until middle of next month, God forbid December?!?!?

I just emailed my LO to get clear clarfication directly through HIM! This is utterly unexceptable! We were told USDA has only been taking about 3 weeks tops and so we were given a proposed closing date of next Monday 10/29, but after hearing that live recording, that is FAR BEYOND 3 WEEKS!!!

Why can't for once, our LO be up front with us?!? It has been a total nightmare with him since March! And to add insult to injury, our credit report and locked in rate is set to expire 11/15, what if we do not hear back from USDA by then??? I just found out I lost 10 points on my credit score causing me to fall below the 640 qualification for USDA so should they require a new credit report, that just might cause us to lose our house!!

I am utterly NERVOUS AND EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED right this very minute!!!!

Ugh that is so frustrating! Ours was supposedly sent to USDA on 9/19 and we still haven't heard anything except "We're hoping for next week" and we've been hearing this for 2 weeks and before that we were hearing nothing. It is incredibly frustrating and we're sick of waiting. On top of everything I had a job change so now even if we do get approved this week or next week we can't close until after next friday because they need my first paystub first in order to close.. ugh!

USDA was on a 6 week wait in june. My loan was submitted in the begining of June and didnt recieve confirmation till Aug7th. As I said in another thread my neighbor took almost 3 months to get theirs. I dont know if its any different in other states but this all happended in Ohio

This is just an update. So I have been calling each day to the USDA Status LIne they have provided here in FL and well at least they are now looking at files that were submitted to them on 9/20-10/1! Ours was submitted on 10/5!!

I am SO hoping that sometime next week we get our phone call with the good news!!
