I have been talking to a couple of places that do FHA loans. However BofA just opened in my area and they do FHA also. I have been seriously considering developing a relationship with this bank as it is "national" so does it matter where FHA is obtained from. Credit scores are moving up and are all around 620 now, will be higher once cc debt is paid down, which will be before I apply. Thx

FHA has standard guidelines however these guidelines are just the minimum requirements, some banks may have stricter guidelines. For example I have a friend which was approved for a FHA loan from one bank did not get approved at another bank due to there stricter guidelines beyond the FHA. That's why it is important to shop for what is best for you.
