Will a lender pre-approve me with MyFICO scores?

I have a lot of inquiries over the past year (credit card app spree) and would like to keep them to a minimum going forward. DH and I are thinking about putting our house on the market & looking for a new one.

Before we do that, I want a lender to tell me as definitively as possible what we'll be approved for. If I pull our credit reports & scores from this site, will a lender use that? I understand they'll want to pull their own scores once the actual mortgage process is underway, but I'd like to save that hard pull if I can since that will likely be months away.

My broker used the scores pulled by another broker initially and once my loan went to underwriting they pulled their own. They used the initial ones from the other broker just to see if they thought I had a fair chance and saved me the hard pull.

Thanks. Now I'm just waiting for my scores to update. Right now my CR is showing an extra 15k in CC debt that I don't really have, thanks to overlapping statement dates & BTs. Can't wait for those to update and my score to recover. Patience is not my strong suit.

consumer reports are hard to read..... kind of a pita
