So i went ahead and submitted a pre approval application to NFCU for the 30yr homebuyers choice.

My husband has perfect credit but a short credit history

joint income of about 65k

car payment $431

CC debt $200

I have some old baddies in my credit like late payments on my school loan from 5 years ago (they are currently deferred)

late payment on credit card from 6 years ago (all update ever since)

Do you forsee any problems

The loan officer said she was going to call me back with an answer today but nothing yet. It is 1:40pm here....I feel like she should have called already if it was good news

Hi Jess21,

Did you ever get an answer from the LO? I'm curious about the requirements for the 100% financing loan.

Pre approved by NFCU on Nov 26th, they pulled all three bureaus, all scores are about 730-740, owe 10k on cc's, 2k on car, and approved for 215k @ 3.625%
