In Your Experience... CONDITIONS

Last Friday underwriting gave us 22 conditions. They were submitted to the underwriter on Monday. I just received an email requesting 1 additional LOE to explain why my husband is in a payment plan with the IRS.
In your experience, is this a good sign that they are about to wrap up underwriting?
I could use some good news as we are supposed to close Tuesday.

It's the normal process. As an underwriter examines/evaluates your file, it is their perrogative to request documents/explanations etc.

I know the answer to this, but can it go on and on? When does it stop and the uw call it good?

Once you have satisfied all of their conditions. At this point, just give them everything they're asking for.

Yes, it can go on and on! All you can do is get the what they want as fast as possible and...wait. We all go through it
