Hello, just got a cleared to close email from DCU on my HELOC plus loan application. Wanna put the timeline here in case you are interested. Overall, I am very happy with DCU. The process is quick and smooth. They work with Urban Lending to process and underwrite the loan. They whole process took 3 weeks.

4/19 Submitted application online
4/20 Got an email from DCU loan originator, with the list of items they need and link to apply for membership. 2 EQ HPs
4/21 Received standard mortgage application form with information I submitted on 4/19, request for tax transcripts and SSN and other standard loan doc for eSign. uploaded all requested DOCs to DCU to the link they provided.
4/25 Received email from Processor. Requested a few more documents and answered a few questions on income and debt
4/26 Received email from processor stating that everything looked good. They ordered drive by appraisal and title
5/2 received email from processor stating the package was heading to UW.
5/3 Uploaded a Document UW asked for in the am. . Informed that UW was satisfied with all the documents in PM
5/5 Received email that UW countered with a lower line of credit to meet DTI guideline.
5/6 Accepted the countered offer. Added DCU to mortgage insurance. Told that the loan package was backed at UW for final approval with the accepted counter offered LOC

5/11 received Cleared to close email. And the closing agent will call me in 3 business days. Fund will be available on the 4th day after signing.

All in all, great service by both DCU and UL. Amazing rates that starts at 3.25%. I am going to take out 50K immediately and converted that to a 15-yr fixed loan at 3.99%. Lowest one I could find in the market.
