August 2016 closers!

Where you at?

I'm scheduled for 8/24 but hoping to close a few days early. Appraisal was ordered Friday, my file should be out of underwriting late this week.

Super nervous since my file has a lot of moving parts, credit dings, etc. Trying to remain positive since I was approved by DU and my lender reviewed all my docs before issuing the ore-approval.

Such a scary process!!

Scheduled to close 8/19.

got cleared to close 07/18 from LO.

waiting to seller atty to to give us the title search.

hoping to close 8/12. This waiting is killing me.

It must feel good to get that cleared to close! That's what I'm waiting for and holding my breath until I get!

It's kind of crazy that you're already CTC but your closing is so far off. What's the delay?!

I was thinking the samething...LOL.... last I heard, my lawyer is waiting for the title search from the seller atty, hopefully, once we get that we can schedule for closing.

Schedule to close 8/1. Still waiting on CTC. Lender communicated last on 7/21 with a final approval and said CTC should be imminent.

Received clear to close on Friday. Closing scheduled for August 1st. I can't wait!

Closing Aug. 8th and inspection and appraisal has been done with the appraisal coming in with the house being 8k more than the asking price (399k sale price and appraised ar 407k). Letters of explanation are verifying previous address history on credit report and credit inquiries on wife's credit report and that's all. Can anyone else think of anything that underwriting would need? VOE has been done two weeks ago.....underwriting has our complete file since last Wednesday July 20th. Anyone?

I am scheduled to close 8/18.. Final walk through 8/12. I am on PINS AND NEEDLES as well!! I keep hearing horror stories and I am praying that nothing happens last minute!

I haven't had to do anything other than what you have mentioned. I expected them to ask for updated bank statements or check stubs but they haven't asked for that yet. Sounds like you should be getting closing disclosures soon.

Ack, all you early August closers are killing me. Congrats!! I sure wish I was in your shoes. My file is heading to UW this week and the appraisal will also be in this week, so I have a loooooong way to go before I'll feel semi safe...

We are scheduled for an 8/30 close. All updated documents are were sent into to the LO on Friday so I expect everything will be with the underwriting within the next day or so. Executed contracts will be delivered to our attorney by Wednesday. Waiting for the bank to order the appraisal and for our attorney to order the title search.

I really hope everything goes smoothly and we won't be pushed to September.

My first post here but definitely not my first visit, as I"ve been a serious lurker for a while. I'm scheduled to close on 8/9, just received appraisal that was done today, Sent all paperwork to my loan officer over a week ago and hopefully that will be all.

Not sure exactly what else comes next but I'm praying their are no bumps in the road. This is very stressful and I can't believe I'm almost a homeowner.

Got my final closing disclosures today. The closing costs are about 3k less than expected! Yay! Best news ever.

The market is so hot out here that it's apparently 10 days to even get an appraiser out! Gah! It was ordered on the 22nd but that wait may delay us moving into UW. Still in processing for now and we were hoping to get out of UW by the end of the week. Maybe it's a good thing we aren't closing until 8/24!
