someone linked me a thread and i was able to get them done. EQ seemed easy enough although her English was super bad. TU said they need to send requests to the creditors and have them do it ( makes no sence ) and Experian was SUUUUUUUUPER helpful. So lets see what happens.

Thank you for your help. I was able to get them all removed today. I had already attempted this in December and was told that they were removed from all 3 bureaus only to find out towards the end of the mortgage process that there were still some out there. I had misplaced all the original phone numbers for the CB's, so was a bit frantic. Turns out when I contacted TU a few months ago, I was told all were removed. Found out today, it was never done. Lovely. Anyway, I get help from all 3 bureaus today and hopefully it works this time.

I've been so frustrated. All 3 supposedly took them off but then they came back on. Called again and same thing.

You my have to also call each creditor and insist that you are no longer disputing the items and that they stop reporting that the items are in dispute. The bureaus may remove the disputes, but the creditors can put the dispute back on the report.

I am wondering if that is what happened, as the ones I requested in December to be removed, were surely removed as I checked and then they just came back within a months time. Going to contact them tomorrow. Thanks for the advise.

Happy to report that the LO repulled our CR's yesterday and all disputes were removed, nothing showed. Whew !!! I also had contacted all the creditors to make sure it was clear on there end as well. What a process.

Hopefully we will get the okay in a few days for a closing date.

I think its funny that we all have a different Credit Reporting Agency that gives us issues with removing disputes. For me, TransUnion and Experian were the easiest. Called them, and had the remarks removed within 24 hours. Equifax was a pain. First, they started a dispute on my closed dispute comments (which looks even worse). Then after 5 days of no change (and I called almost daily), I was finally able to get someone who removed the new dispute and the comments within 24 hours. Then 1 week later, after my LO pulled my credit again and said everything looked good, the comments popped back up again. Not wanting it to become a problem further down the road when/if the LO pulled my credit again, I had to call Equifax again. I was livid. They removed the comments within 24 hours (again). It's been about a 2 weeks and they havent popped up again.

Now I'm in "Final Review" apparently waiting on the Title Company to give the underwriter a couple additional figures. Closing date is supposed to be the 31st. Hopefully, I'm in the home stretch.

I found that too, they were removed for me in December and then they popped up again. Worked frantically the other day knowing the LO was pulling the credit report again. It was just perfect timing, because if they pulled again next week they may have popped up again. Found out important to call all creditors and explain not disputing anymore because if they still report every month it will just come back even though CR's manually removed. That is not such an easy task either as some of my accounts were 7 years old. A crazy process.
