Nervous right before first closing

All documentation is in.

Credit pull happened.

Supposed to be getting final commitment from UW today.

Scheduled to close 12/29 on my new construction (that was supposed to be done in October ).

Getting antsy. What can go wrong?

Congratulations!

I am closing on 12/28, and we just received final loan commitment on 12/19! We've been told that we will receive final closing disclosures today or tomorrow, and to keep the closing date at 12/28, we need to e-sign them by COB tomorrow. We've also been told the final soft credit pull will happen on 12/22. When the pull happens, we were told they are looking for new inquiries/debt. If there are any, we were told we would have to do letters of explanation.

We're doing new construction too and our home was "supposed" to be ready around September/October. This has definitely been an overwhelming experience.

Thankfully I've already gone through the credit pull *whew*, so I don't have to worry about that.

I was supposed to close tomorrow, but my previous LO (it's been reassigned) really screwed up and then completely closed my loan instead of getting help to fix her mistakes. A wonderful new LO and her supervisor have moved mountains to do a new loan that went through UW yesterday over the course of 2 days.

I had the overwhelming experience this morning of trying to reschedule movers, and it was so hard to find new ones. I had to resort to trusting a baby craigslist company.

Fingers crossed for both of us that we end this year in our new homes!!

You got this in the bag. If you followed the advice of your Loan Officer you shouldn't have any problems.

Keep us updated! I'm sure everything will be smooth sailing from here. Unless you've lost your job, or the lender told you that you need to pay something off, you should be fine!
