When will I know exact Closing Costs?

Hi Everyone!

I'm just wondering how far in advance I'll know the exact closing costs for our home? We are supposed to close around the 15th, but when will we know what we have to bring to the table?

We have a GFE that says $2800.00.

the soonest that you will get the actual number is a day or two before closing when the title company creates the settlement statement.

if your loan officer is any good, the number will be close to the gfe

like dallas said, if the LO is any good they should be very close to the actual number...i was pissssed when i went to pay my closing costs because at the table....we learned that they forgot to add in the homehowners insurance so i had to dump an extra 850.00 thinking it was already included
