No CTC yet....

Our closing date is Wednesday, however today the title company needed to fix something about a bankruptcy and judgment that wasn't ours. So again no CTC and I'm afraid the seller is going to back out and I end up loosing money and homeless.

You are too close they won’t back out when they will likely have money in their hands by Friday! Calm down it will be ok

A final view of what? The home? Once closing is scheduled, you get to do a final walkthrouth then. So if closing is between 9-11am, the walkthrough will more than likely be the evening before. If closing is after 12pm, the walkthrough will probably be the same morning.

Now I was notified that seller does not have a CO yet due to some violation. Their attorney stated that it may be available by Friday or next week. In 2 months they could have done this. I was hustling to get all mortgage paperwork done and they couldn't get a co on time.

No Certificate of Occupancy? Are you in danger of blowing a rate lock and paying a penalty as a result? Are you now going to need to bring 25 days of paid interest to close because you have gone into the next month? Is the lender going to charge a fee for redrawing loan docs? Ask your lender these questions.
Do you have a Real Estate agent representing you? They should be running interference for you.
Ridiculous in regards to the CO. You may want to hire a Whole House Inspection to see what else your builder has not completed. I highly recommend this inspection.

This is not a new construction, but the seller did some repairs previously without a permit, in my state a permit is required for major repairs done in a house. As per seller everything is working, I am just pissed because they applied for the CO Last week. They had 2 months!

You have had a Whole House Inspection and have the Seller repairs evaluated by someone other than a County inspector why does not care??? Say yes???

Finally was able to close Lay Friday! Crazy process but worth it
