      <description>&lt;P&gt;So are the student loans being paid now?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HUD doesn't like borrowers who aren't paying other federal loan debts so I am wondering if they are paid off or current.&amp;nbsp; You'll need to calculate 1% of the unpaid balance of those loans into your DTI as well.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have you already obtained contractor quotes for this rehab work you have planned?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your reply - I double checked &amp;amp; to my surprise I found 2 defaulted loans which were not included due to being with a totally different servicer. Currently awaiting the approval of my consolidation application to bring all student loans current &amp;amp; out of default.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes my rehab quote came from contractor quotes for rehab.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
