Lender said Notary will arrive tomorrow at scheduled time. Lender also shared the documents via a portal to review which will be available for signing tomorrow. The document has a instruction page for Notary to contact borrower to confirm date and timing within 24 hours prior to closing. Notary has not contacted yet. Lender says they may or may not contact and that I also need not contact him.</P><P>Is the Notary legally obliged to contact borrower to confirm closing date and time ? Should I be concerned if Notary does not reach out to me ? Can I reach out to Notary and check if he is on schedule?
