I am DONE! I settled!

Today at 3:00pm! I just got home. Of course, I didn't get the final numbers until 1:00pm and had to run to the bank from work on the way to closing! BUT IT IS DONE!

I did a final walkthrough last night and all was well. The seller was there today and sometime in between, the tiolet started leaking, she called a plumber and arranged for it to be paid for when I call. WOOO HOOOO!!!!!

Talk about honest! I would have never known.

This evening when the kids were done their baseball game, we had a picnic on the living room floor. Not one stitch of furniture in the place but we had our first meal there!

I remember doing that exact same thing with my parents when I was little! I think we camped out in the master bedroom that night on mattresses without bed frames. Thanks for bringing back that memory, and congratulations!!

Congrats!!! So sorry I missed this. I spent the weekend up at the new house and have no internet up there. I'm so happy for you and most of all so happy that things when so smoothly.
