I cannot wait much Longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So.....We are scheduled to close on April 29th and I am starting to get nervous. I know that I don't have much to worry about but I am still waiting on the final hurdle,,,,The Appraisal. My LO ordered it two weeks ago, it was completed on Monday this week, and were supposed to get the results sometime between Wednesday and tomorrow....Friday. My LO called them this morning at 10am and asked what the hold up was, The appraisal company said that my LO would have it by noon today - Thursday, still nothing yet. I pray we get good news tomorrow as my wife and I are on pins and needles waiting to move forward in the process. My LO said that once we are past the appraisal part, the rest is fairly streamlined and basically gets put in "cruise conrol".

Looks like we're both gonna go through an April 29th closing together

Unfortunately I don't even know what the appraisal status is on my place - small town so I'm not too worried.

Going into underwriting tomorrow or early next week - passed the automated underwriting so I'm sitting on the final row of pins and needles until closing!

Keep my fingers crossed for ya - I'm sure we're both stressing for no reason

Same boat. Appraisal came through with flying colors though. It was very good!

We had a minor scare come up yesterday with a collections agency but after the hard work of my loan officer and his team and our lawyer it is all resolved to our benefit. We are being sent to final underwriting Monday!

Very nervous.

Appraisal came in today - 1yr insurance is lined up and the bank is writing a committment letter of some sort for the selling party (since they wanted to know the status on the 20th) - supposed to get a copy sometime today, dunno if that means it's gone through their final underwrite before USDA or not but still good news

Pretty much the same boat here too. Appraisal came in yesterday...all good. Sent off to Chase for final underwriting today. (Friday) Insurance will be paid Monday...1 yr upfront.

We are scheduled to close by April 30th.

wow, i am with you all...i hope its a big boat! Appraisal was done Monday, supposedly to come back yesterday. My lo called a bit ago and was on his way into his office...would let me know. I want to close 4/24...i hope its possible! More so, I hope this apprasial works out, since we lost the other 2 contract because of the appraisal being to low...

I too am hoping for a closing before the end of the month. We have everything ready to go, we just need the lender to be "comfortable" with the oil heat. We sent in requested inspections on the tank so hopefully we will hear soon that we can close.

Got any more room in this boat? We're waiting for my wife's student loans to show defered until after she's done with school. We've proved she's still in school with her schedule and expected graduation date. She will still be taking classes this time next year! Hopefully we all will get out of this boat soon! The Mrs and I are waiting to hear back from underwriting sometime within the next few days. Our LO said we're still on track to close by the 30th. Holy cow, this is nerve wracking!!!! Can't we just get the keys already???

Its been 6 weeks since the last time I was inside the house. Its been too long!!! Every weekend I drive by the house - really slowly. It was so beautiful on Saturday. It was so quiet and serene and just so wonderful. I truly cannot wait much longer!!! I really want to close this week - pretty please with sugar on top.....

Just, just got the appraisal! 230,000.00 our offer....225,900! Finally one that worked! Now if we can only close on Friday....! We here at the forums have a great boat!

I hope you all saved room for me too. My closing is set for April 29th at 4 p.m. I keep hearing horror stories of people's deals falling through days before closing. LORD! I need a drink this has been a long process. Everything has been done, my LO told me that that Underwriter took mine and some other files home with her and I haven't heard anything yet so I am hoping that the Underswriter doesn't see anything that looks awkward. I am soooo ready to get out of my apartment complex. I am tired of walking to a dumpster and not finding a parking space.

Wow!!!!It sounds like their are a lot of fico friends in the same boat as myself. Last Friday afternoon I was told by my LO that the appraisal came in right where it should and everything was rushed to USDA underwriting on Friday afternoon. My LO said the expected turn around is 48 hours and we may hear something as early as tomorrow - Tuesday!!!!!! So good look to everyone "on board" and think happy thoughts for one another. We are still on track to close April 29th.

Yes, that's it! I didn't realize how hard it was during the process -- perhaps I had a fortuitously, problem-free one. But, I'm six weeks past close, mowed the lawn (again) today, have planted flowers, am planning an honest-to-God 'courtyard' and a 'moving-in' yard sale, have collected my $8,000 tax credit, enjoy the arriving hummingbirds, am spending a fortune feeding the squirrels, have adopted a stray cat...

My agent just called, said the sellers are ready to close Monday, 1pm. I emailed my LO, he replied back, "Well, not sure, had to wait on the appraisal (just got yesterday) to send for final approval, might know something by Tuesday as to the turn around time, lots of loans closing" OMGosh....I have no fingernails left!

Called my LO yesterday,

Said I'm sign sealed and delivered underwriting and USDA approved -

Only 'hitch' was the appraiser suggested they secure the sliding deck door seeing the deck wasn't existant.
