    <description>collections post BK and less tham 2 years since&amp;nbsp; BK will be a no go.&amp;nbsp; you need the 2 years post BK unless there are some seriously compensating factors (and even then it is almost impossible).&amp;nbsp; On top of that, any lates or collections post BK is usuallu a deal killer.&amp;nbsp; They will more than likely want at least 2 years perfect credit to show re-established credit.</description>

      <description>i had a discharged chapter 7bk in 11-2007 will this stop me from getting a mortgage loan in the next 2 months.&amp;nbsp; I have paid all my accounts on time except for&amp;nbsp;a couple of collections that I didn't know I had and I paid them off as soon as I find out about the collections.&amp;nbsp; Will this stop me from getting a mortgage.&amp;nbsp; I will be hopefully with God's help a first time homebuyer soon, before the tax credit deadline.</description>

      <description>We filed chapter 7 and it was discharged in March of 07.&amp;nbsp; We are closing on a home July 17th, but it has been over two years for us.&amp;nbsp; We are doing a USDA Rural Development loan and since our mid score was 683, I think it made it easier.&amp;nbsp; I believe if you mid score is 660 or above, they overlook a lot of past credit mistakes.&amp;nbsp; I was told that you couldn't have anything negative in the past 12 months, which we haven't had any negatives since the BK.&amp;nbsp; I think they may be stricter on negatives if they have occurred since the BK.&amp;nbsp; It doesn't hurt to try.&amp;nbsp; Good luck!</description>

      <description>Collections after BK are going to be extremely hard to overcome, especially with less than 2 years from bk.</description>
