Has anyone been approved for a mortgage loan with student loans in deferment?

Just wondering. I have student loans in deferment until 2013 and I don't want them to be counted in the DTI. Thank you.

~~I just closed on my new home with myself and my husband having loans in derferment.~~ They will not be factored into your DTI as long as they remain in derferment up until a year from closing.

It isnt the UW it is the program

USDA counts the payment against you fha wont

We are going FHA. I live in central california and I looked for usda properties and there are none in my area.

I'm in Stockton, I'm hating this heat too, and such weird weather. It's cold, then its hot, then its cold, then its hot and stale. Yuck!

I am over in the Brentwood Antioch Area and at least we have the delta all around us

It hasnt done much good lately either run the AC or suffer

I had mine deferred for less than a year and we had no problems.
