Thanks in part to my Fellow Forumanistas........

......I just got a new car with a loan rate lower than my mortgage

I started sorting out my credit a year ago, then joined here in March, and got so much help that I straightened things out in the next 9 months and was able to go into an auto dealer yesterday knowing my exact scores and what they meant. I asked what FICO was required for their best rate (730), and so I knew I qualified for the best rates. This helps when buying - I was happy with the deal I got, I knew what I could afford and I ended up with a rate better than I could get anywhere else.

MV..........did you have a Report with you or do they pull one? Which one did Toyota pull?

Didn't take a report, but had pulled all 3 this week..

The dealer pulled EQ only, and so did Toyota financing, so I got two EQ hard pulls (which SHOULD count as one as regards score)
