topic Closing Friday - last minute questions in Mortgage Loans

We are scheduled to close Friday morning and withdrawing the costs will just about wipe out the account. We sold our season tickets and have not deposited the checks because the documentation for my mothers gift was bad enough. How do you ask almost strangers for proof that they had the funds in their account? My LO said it was "probably ok" to go ahead and deposit this money because we had already submitted proof that we had the money (on 8/21). Will we suddenly have to explain a deposit at this point?
