Spouses & Seperate FHA Loans

Here's our situation:

My husband has a house he bought prior to our marriage, and got an FHA loan. Well, with your marriage, we outgrew our house. We have found a new house and gotten pre-approved under my name ONLY. Our current house is under HIS name only. Will we be able to have the two houses, each with an FHA loan, because neither of us will be on the other?

Are you in a community property state?

FHA allows for two FHA loans for this and other circumstances.
