New Student Trying to Buy a House

I am just starting school (my first classes were over the weekend). I now have a direct subsidized and a direct unsubsidized loan to pay for my classes. I also was just preapproved for a FHA loan. The broker I'm using pulled my credit and filled in the info directly off the CR. My student loans weren't on there. The only info I have gotten regarding these student loans is from my school.

I don't want to screw anything up with getting a house. I haven't found one yet, but I'm actively looking. What should I do?

disclose the loans.

provide documentation showing them deferred for 12+ months

Thanks Dallas!Ok... but where do I get that info. According to the DL website, my loan hasn't been processed yet although I got a letter from school stating that it had been transfered into my student account. I'm so confused... I really do want everything to go RIGHT this time.

I tried the studentloans.gov website and I tried calling - they do not have any record of my loan. I'm sure I'm not the only person in the world with a student loan in deferment who is trying to buy a house. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

maybe the loan officer can get the credit report updated.(not really necessary... a letter saying that you have credit not on loan ap and deferred documentation is good enough for most lenders)

talk to them and see what they need.
