120 day late on mortgage can we get a home loan

Hello everyone.... things are tougher these days and we have had some rough periods in the past. I thought that as long as there are no lates in 2 years you are ok for home loan fha as long as you meet the 620 middle score. I have since read if you have 120 days late posted to your mortgage you have to wait 3 years even for fha. WE do have atleast 30% down payment, will this still effect us? Is there any home loan we can get?

tough to say. Generally 120 days late is considered the same as foreclosure for new loan purposes so the three year wait would apply. That said, you may find a bank that will accept 30% down,. not sure.
