I'm about to pay off a 17,500 car loan and $500 more of credit cards out of $5000 to be paid. Would I have a bigger chance of getting approved for a $60,000 car if i financed it or leased it? I can afford up to 900 a month

I just leased a MB .Ive heard leasing is tougher. They pulled TU ,.I had 688,they said I was tier 2 and moved me to tier 1 siince I did auto debit.I think as someone said they are motivated right now.The lease deal they offered just made sense to me instead of buying.I think you would need to lease or put down signifigant $ to be at $900/mo.

I leased because I'm reimbursed. This is all dependent on your income and scores. Any bk or collections or repo?

My girlfriends husband gave her the 640, but I think he paid cash, but I'll ask him. This is the 4th bmw he bought in the last year. It's a nice looking car but I wasn't impressed with the ride (sorry Col)!

I too have an interest in this thread as I am currently considering purchasing as used the BMW...........but at about half the price of the original poster, can anyone tell me what kind of rates they were able to get as well as their scores at the time.

A friend told me you can get a good deal with around 630 score as long as you have no repos.

Thanks
