What is the next step if I sent out the pre-hippa letters and the 35 day waiting period has passed without any notification from the CRA or any change to my CR?

Did you do the opt-outs?

Did you update your address on your credit reports?

Is the med collection paid or unpaid?

Have you received any validation from the collection agency?

Are you 100% certain the med collection is not marked as "disputed and verified"?

Are you 100% certain the med collection is not marked as "disputed and verified"? yes i received CR in the mail and the collections are still up there but dont say verified or disputed. I sent two separate letters to TU for two different collections, they deleted one and havent heard anything on the second.

Ok! It sounds like you're half way home with one collection being deleted. On the one remaining paid collection, do the following.

Scenario #3: If the CRA “verifies" your paid collection but the CA does not provide an accurate and complete validation, send this letter to the CA.

ALTERNATIVE MED DV LETTER TO THE CA

After you receive the green card for the Alt Med DV letter to the CA, mail this follow-up dispute letter along with a copy of the green card from the ALT DV letter to the CRA(s) CMRRR.

FOLLOW-UP DISPUTE LETTER (2) TO THE CRA'S
