No they never sent validation.

Today I call Experian and they are just holding my Re-Dispute letter basically.

They said they dont understand the letter. Then when I tell them they say 1)They already verified it and 2) The account is in compliance with the FCRA and that it isnt reporting any private information that would violate Hipaa.

So thats two bureaus that refuse to investigate.

I'm not to confident with sending the green card back to the Bureaus after they already disputed an account once. I think that step needs to be deleted and the next step should be getting the FTC and OCR involved if the account was paid before the Hipaa process was started

Message Edited by CreditGuy03 on 05-18-2009 12:27 PM

Down to the last step in Hipaa to have the CRA reinvestigate the account along with the GC copy. Equifax did not investigate. They started the investigation on may 12 and today it said completed and I requested a new dispute online to get an updated copy of the credit report and the account still remains.

What do I do now? Send an intent to file complaint letter to the OC? Can I sue someone?

Please list all the things you have done (letters and to whom) so far with the dates and results. Is the collection marked as "disputed and verified" on your reports?

I've followed the Hipaa process all the way to the last step where you send the GC to the CRA's and ask for a reinvestigation. It wasnt a paid collection so I paid it in full with insert A to the OC.

So, you sent the OC the HIPAA letter with insert A? After any dispute with the CRAs, did the CA send you validation?
