The only place to get that number is through Equifax directly. Third-party services don't have access to that info. You can order your full report via equifax.com or for free annually via annualcreditreport.com. If you didn't want to pay or use your free report, and if you suspect ID theft, then you can request your report for free via equifax.

I recently signed up for myFico and it is showing a phantom credit card that I never opened that is bringing my credit score down. I have called the bank and they have no record of it. I tried to call Equifax but I am having difficulty getting in touch with an actual person as myFICO does not supply the actual report number. Is there a way around this to start the investigation process?
