FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring

Hi,

Tried to search on this, but not sure if I got the right answers. Can anyone tell me the versions of FICO you get with the $19.95 FICO 3 bureau monitoring here @MyFico?

With the single version it is Fico 08, I would imagine it would be the same for the new 3 bureau monitoring product,

I have ScoreWatch right now. Is this new product like ScoreWatch but across all three CRAs? I love ScoreWatch, and don't want to lose any of that functionality. I get a great price on ScoreWatch, too, but if this new product is exactly like it except that it covers all three CRAs, then it's a very good deal.

I've called so that I could change products. The rep cancelled my scorewatch and single bureau monitoring and told me to sign up for the new product. I signed up and put in my credit card info and received my confirmation. Now I'm completely locked out and blocked from any EQ products with an Error 307 and show no active subscriptions. My excitement has turned to dismay...lol

Yeah, I called this morning, and updated mine. She had to cancel the old product, then I just ordered the new one. It took about 20 minutes for all the data to show, but I am super happy about this, since its only a few bucks more, and I was already buying FICOs for the other two reports every couple of months, just to check.

I should have asked if it was all 08.

They single handedly just took down every single credit monitoring service out there that gave FAKO scores. I will definitely be signing up for this service. I believe it's also a 3 month minimum commitment as well? ie 60.00$ to sign up for this?

Just a heads up to anyone wanted to purchase this service. You will have to remove the security freezes and locks on your credit reports and allow 24 hours before being able to sign up. This is why I was getting an error. Will try again tomorrow. But this is definitely a product I've been waiting for.

New-Beginning is correct - this uses the FICO 08.

I agree with you in general that it would be nice to do it all on-line, but after calling in to make the change, I can clearly see why it is best to do it that way. There appears to be quite a bit involved. In my case, it meant cancelling of SW and the Quarterly Product, a credit for the monthly SW billing, a credit for the unused Quarterly product that I just recently paid a year in advance for, and the transferring/vouchers of any unused SW EQ reports. There are so many factors that I can see where too many things could go wrong, if done otherwise.

This is my question as well, is it $60 to sign up? I just signed up for SW yesterday and bought my other two scores then this morning I see this new service Oh well, I'll sign up for it next month!

I know it's a bit frustrating to have to call, but EW800 is right. At this juncture, there's just too much involved to switch over. Our customer service agents have been trained to make the transition easy and as seamless as possible. Rest assured, we are working on a better solution.

Sorry to hear that. It sounds frustrating. We're definitely taking note of any glitch that occurs so that we can fix the problem for future transitions. Unfortunately, your best bet is probably to call back and have one of our customer service agents help fix the problem.

The Customer Service Agent that I got was AWESOME! It sounded like there were quite a few steps involved and I got the feeling she was doing all she could to make sure everything was done correctly.

From what I can tell, it only monitors Equifax credit score and you get a once a year update on the three credit reports/scores. I signed up for this yesterday. So, if you pay $19.95 per month, that's $239.40 per year, and you'd stll need to buy the other two scores individually (if you paid for that every month, that's another $478.80 per year for the additional credit scores) since the monitoring service only monitors the 3 CRB and doesn't update the actual scores. Mine says that my 3 CRB update will be next year.

It's a heck of a lot cheaper to just buy all three scores twice a year. My biggest issue is that all the alerts and whatnot that the service is showing is from 2 years ago and nothing recent at all.

I was charged $20 for my first month, and my credit for the other product was already returned to my Paypal account.

Hmmm, here is the message I saw. Maybe that is in reference to you can only get customized alert changes for EQ?

I called and cancled scorewatch and switched over to the 3 score watch version an hour ago. I am super excited about this... the one thing I can not figure out is, can u set up credit alerts for EX and TU.... I can only do it for EQ.

I am assuming with this new product, its like scorewatch and my TU and EX scores will update when they change??
