Getting score and credit alerts from eq but NONE from myfico?

Been getting alerts for stuff falling off report, entering a new score band etc. but 0 from my fico?

Same here, my sisters went up from the 700s to the 800s and nothing. We actually paid for her report. I just checked mine, and obviously I didn't know about TU because they don't monitor scores, but Scorewatch is supposed to if you put the alert setting on.

Just checked mine, and same thing, it increased by 30 points, not a peep out of SW. That's pretty upsetting.

That's because SW from myFICO doesn't alert you to "stuff falling off report". Please read Score Watch Guide for a better understanding of what SW does and doesn't do. Also, myFICO customer care can answer these questions 6 days a week.

Please keep in mind that score changes are monitored weekly, not daily. This means that it can take up to 7 days following a score change to be alerted, and that if you pull a new report within 7 days after the score change you won't receive an alert for that change. Wait a minute, I just checked my history, and if I set my target score, it has given me score watch alerts like from one day to the next, so the argument doesn't hold true. Whatever.

My own, you can ignore me. My logic was, the scores have to be checked more often than weekly, if I get score alerts one day after the other. What I wasn't taking into account is that the 'work around' of setting your target to a specific number isn't what's purchased, that's just an added bonus, so I can't complain.

Apparently I'm just an idiot, which was proven this morning when I purchased a TU report, when I meant to purchase an EQ report. Yet I had already purchased that EQ report this morning. You all don't do refunds due to a customer's stupidity do you? Didn't think so. I'll stop posting now to go hide under a rock. Thanks.

LOL! Actually, you're right. The scores are checked more often than weekly IF there's a credit alert triggered during that time. If there's no credit alert for 7 days, the score will be checked on that 7th day. Does that make more sense?

And while we don't normally do refunds, we do make a rare exception for people who I have confused. In fact, we even add a free report to SW subscriptions on occasion!
