Paid installment account, showing 60 days past due, Should this account be reported as being I2

I recently had a Car loan that I paid off. It was reporting 3 late payments in 2008. While I was paying the account off the loan was reported as Paid as Agreed. Well I paid the account of early, and now the status was changed to 60 days past due... I haven't had a late payment on this account since Oct 2008. I watched my fico fall 25 points when the status of this account was changed.

I spoke to a rep at US Bank and she informed me that the account has been reported as being I2, I asked her should it being reporting as such considering the lates are already being reported. Can anyone help me with this, as I believe that this account is inaccurately reported.

It does not look like this TL has been updated to a paid and closed status. It is still showing a scheduled payment amount.

Did it ever report as paid?

It was just updated to paid and closed, it shows 2 late payments from 2008, and it says that the current status is "60 days past due"

If it's PIF, and the last time you were late was 2008, and it's showing 60 days currently late, then I'd dispute with the CRA as inaccurate.
