Pinnacle Credit Services LLC is Making Mistakes

For those who have Pinnacle Collections on their credit report:

I just checked my credit score to find a seriously upsetting debt for 378.00 from this credit company. I paid this collection off back in September and it had not been reporting on my

credit since then. Today, my score is down 57 points due to this surprise debt. When I call Pinnacle they tell me that their reporting system is "making mistakes"!?! To the expense of my credit score? Needless to say, the financial manager assured me that he would fix it, but I have already sent in my dispute with Experian. I will also send a GW letter. Hopefully, this incident can give me a platform to have them completely removed from my credit report. Hope this isn't going on across the board. Another reason that credit monitoring is wonderful.

Did you pay Pinnacle? When you paid them did you do a PFD?

I paid Pinnacle September 2007. I attempted to do a PFD, but in my naivety accepted a verbal agreement. As of today, they have corrected the EX report, but now I have a new delinquent account that just appeared in EQ. It is showing as an open account that is 120+ days late. I think that I will try submitting a complaint to the BBB. Steve Hahn, the financial manager admitted that it was their mistake, so maybe I have some leverage with that.
