2 Separate CA's Reporting Same Account.

T-mobile is sold an account to CA #1 reporting collection with $350 balance.

T-mobile sold an account to CA #2 reporting collection with $350 balance.

I havent DV'd either Collection Agency as of yet., wanted to get some advice on best way to approach.

Both past SOL.

Advice?

Are you sure CA #1 didn't sell the debt to CA #2 or assign it for collection?

If it is out of SOL I would send both of them DV letters.

Well both are reporting balances, should one report zero balance, if one of them sold to the other?

It is out of SOL so I would send both of them a DV letter. One of them should come off.

I have the same issue...many of my old collections are showing up by multiple collection agencies? Since I included all, the OC plus the CAs, in my chpt 7 (due to discharge this month-medical issues no judgements please) should I DV them or just leave them as they are included in my filing?

Are they showing IIB? Do they show a zero balance.

They are not showing either IIB or a zero balance? I am confused, doesn't it have to be one way or the other?
