I disputed two First Premier accounts w/ Equifax on 06/29 and I never received notification that the investigation was completed. I kept receiving notifications that the dispute was still pending and as of today, the dispute is still showing pending. I called Equifax today and requested for the items to be removed because there wasn't any notification within the 30 day time period. The representative told me that the dispute was completed on 07/18 with no changes. They said that they sent notification to me via email. I let them know that I never received that email and that all I got was the pending responses and that it is still showing pending. They said that it must be a technical glitch and that the accounts won't be removed. Do I have a leg to stand on in order to get these items removed? I have screen shots of the pending disputes. Please help. It would be great if I can get these negative marks removed.

Confirmation # Status Dispute Date Completion Date Results

1182004412

PENDING

07/01/2011

08/01/2011(Estimated)

-

1180047889

PENDING

06/29/2011

07/29/2011(Estimated)

-

1180047172

PENDING

06/29/2011

07/29/2011(Estimated)

-

1164030072

PENDING

06/13/2011

07/13/2011(Estimated)

-

1160042049

PENDING

06/09/2011

07/08/2011(Estimated)

-

1155001333

PENDING

06/04/2011

07/04/2011(Estimated)

-

I'm having simliar issues with Equifax. I have two concurrent investigations, which include PFD for medical collections for which I have signed letters from the CA indicating that they should be deleted. The investigation has passed the 30 day mark. Do I have a leg to stand on to have them honor the request to delete even though it's showing as still pending? Thanks!

Here is my view on this. The FCRA has strict laws regarding CRA and timeslines for disputes to

be completed. If your stats on there website is showing still pending and you have not received

anything by mail then I would send them a letter stating you will sue them in court if they do not

follow the law and the items in dispute must be deleted. It doesnt matter when they finished the

investigation its when they sent to you by mail or online the actual notification. If they fail to do

that then thats there mistake.

I would just keep hammering them regarding there failed response

of the 30 day time limit.

A spreadsheet with my name and address?

The way I understand it is.......

When disputing something on your CR, you are actually disputing with the CRA's.(myfico has nothing to do with it).

Then the CRA contacts the CA, by the way of E Oscar to see if what is reporting,is it reporting correctly,if not then it's changed

You now want to know ...... what is E-Osar, it's the way CRA handle most disputes.

E-Ocsar statnds for Electronic - Online Solution for Complete and Accurate Reporting.....LOL accurate.

The CRA sends a ACDV(automated Consumer Dispute Verification, aka consumer dispute) to the CA by the way of E-Oscar.

After the CA investigation is completed a AUD (Automated Univercal Data)form is sent to the CRA.

A AUD form is a form to process out of cycle modifications and updates. From what I've read they use 2 or 3 digit codes.

Google or do a search here for more info about E-Oscar.

I just pulled my Equifax report here on myFICO.com and saw that all of the baddies I had disputed were deleted! Perhaps there is just an issue with their web-based system that doesn't update correctly. Irrespective, they're gone and I'm above 700+ on EQ!!! Thanks all!
