Very good! Midland was actually very understanding and helpful for me. They deleted mine over the phone the only thing he said was send in a GW letter and Ill fwd the deltion request. It was done within a month.

Congrats. Was your account paid in full? Who and how did you contact Midland?

yes it was paid in full (settlement though) i then emailed about 4 different people, i got a response email saying they could not email me any information (for my protection) and it had a phone number and an extention to speak to someone, i called that person, and he told me that my request had been granted, it would be deleted this month, if not, the next.

Congrats. I'm waiting on my deletion confirmation letter from Midland, too. I spoke with the rep last Friday (she called me after I e-mailed them incessantly) and told me that they would delete and said they would send me a letter to confirm; however, until I have that letter in my hand and receive the alert from score watch, I won't be convinced. I know Midland is a tough one to crack and they are THE LAST collection account on my CR, so I cannot wait to see how much my score boosts up when they are off. I'm so thrilled for you (and for myself).

Awesome work! I'm GW'ing them now (just sent them a letter yesterday) from a paid collection from Aug 2010. If I could get even two of my collections GW'ed, I just might get my life back.

I have attempted GW numerous times with midland. I started with letters to consumer relations.

Then went to 2 contact names/emails/phone #'s.

I started with an email. Then a phone call. Then a follow up letter.

Rejected each and every time. I think I give up.

hi, can you please pm me the information too? I have a midland that just showed up on my credit report and I have no idea who it's for, it just says "medical" and I haven't had any medical bills recently. I'm stumped, especially since I found a house that I really wanted to buy for myself and my 2 kids and now I can't because my score is below 620

I just received a letter from them yesterday stating that they bought my account from Tmobile. I forgot all about that account it was literally in 2009! UGH . Can you also share the emails and contacts with me. I do not want this to report but I don't know if it's already too late ...
