What should I do if CA isn't responding to PFD letters?

I have an unpaid medical collection on my reports for $122 from 2009 that I am trying to get removed. I have sent three PFD letters but have not received any response from the CA? Is there anything I can do about this?

Keep sending them they are counting on you to give up. Just start sending them to the higher ups, ie Vice President, Cheif Executive Officer etc. Sometimes it takes one sometimes it takes thirty one. Email, snail mail whatever you have to do to get it deleted.

Last resort (only if life or death, lol), pay it then GW it away.

The thing about this CA is they really dont have much contact info on their website: http://www.mermed.com/contact_us.htm

I wish I could find an email address for them. Is faxing a bad idea when it comes to PFDs?

I personally have never faxed anything, so I'll leave that for someone else to answer. I sent you a PM, I couldn't an e- mail contact but hopefully that will render some results.

Just looked at the copyright for the site and its 2007, the address listed seems to be outdated. If you do a Google search you can get an up to date address.

You could even change tactics and DV them unless you've already DV'ed them.

I DV'd them and they repsonded to that within a few days but they are completely ignoring my PFD. I've been doing some research on this company on Google and it appears they do not accept PFDs and usually ignore them.

If this is having no success, perhaps you should try the HIPAA process instead of PFD.
