Goodwill Letters

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this so I don't want to seem ignorant to facts, but I need to send a goodwill letter to have a past due due possibly removed from my credit. Can someone give me some insight on Who to send it to and how to send it. This information would be very valuable and helpful not just to me, but others on this forum that might be having the same issue I'm having.

GW letters I feel should be short and sweet.Long letters I believe dont get read that often.

GW letters should be sent, to the one you need GW from.

Examples, Wanting late payments to be removed from a OC, then GW letter are sent to the OC.

A Paid collection that is being reported by a CA, then GW letters are send to that CA.
