I need help to rebuild credit report!!! Please help!!!

I have been on this forum before have gotten help, im hoping that I can get some more help to improve and rebuild my credit. I will have to post this information in two posts cause of the character limit of 20 000.

Here we go I live in the state of Ohio & declared BK back in Jan 2000 it got discharged it doesn't show on the credit that I can tell but I do show one pulic record that shows satisfied & 0 collections and a total of 3 inquiries on the credit report. I have one secured capital one credit card that I got last Jan of 2011 and that is all. I need help rebuilding my credit any advice or help or step by step or how to's would be much appreciated. below you will find my credit report information in two or three posts. Please advice????

The formatting on this is REALLY hard to read. Is there anyway you could reformat or just type it out? You'll probably get more answers and help.

From what I can tell though, I would first try to tackle the collections accounts. If you agree with them, perhaps PFD them. I hear Afni is easy to deal with but at first they like to say they won't PFD. You might could PIF or reach a settlement agreement with them and then GW them after paid. Seems like people have success with this. If you PM me, I can send you a contact there.

I'm having a hard time negotiating the rest because of the formatting. Sorry.

Andrew most of these are status as of August 2011 no good gget all three reports even if you have to pay for them. August was nearly9 months ago a lot can change in 9 months like some of the CA may have sold to another agency and youd be spinning your wheels for nothing can you get new reports then resubmit will be glad to help Im down to trans clean equifax one to go and one to go on experian if you get new reports you will have the most success.

Also for ease of forum list Current accounts /derogatory accounts judgements seperately then DOFD who is ca how much owed in any of your accounts just type out what you have as bad marks lates over limits etc. just type itll be easier for everyone

Andrew - I would first look at the CAs on the report. Do you agree with their accuracey? If not, send them DVs. If you do agree, try to PFD them. I'm seeing you are maxed out on the Capital One card but it is still open and in good standing, is that correct? If so, one of the quickest things you can do is pay that card down to $0 or at least under 9%. (I'd go $0).

If any of the charged off accounts don't have CAs showing on your report, then perhaps contact those OCs and see if they will work with you to get the accounts paid and in good standing. Then, you could GW them later.

That's just a few things I would suggest from how I'm reading your CR...

Yes cap one is in good standing, never been late . I'm getting ready to pay it to a 0$ balance. Thanks for the advice when should I PFD?the info on the credit is correct. As u can tell I was careless when I was younger with my credit

acouple of questions if you have cap one for over a year how come you haven't tried to get credit increase or did you? 2 Afni is notorius for listing a collection account also as open account an open account would be with original creditor go to your pm so I can talk to you!!!

You can offer a PFD to the CAs at anytime. However, I wanted to mention that you should check the SOL on those accounts. If they are still within SOL, make sure you have enough money to pay in full (just in case contacting the CAs triggers them to try to sue you for the total). Tackle one at a time (I would start with the lowest balance owed first).
