Hello everyone! Ok, so I had surgery and was hospitalized now my hospital sent me a bill for $1,000. I applied for financial assistance but was denied, and my info was sent to progressive management systems. I'm wondering if It might be best to pay off the hospital bill directly with them, or actually go through progressive mamangement systems. Anyone have any idea what would work best in egards to my credit? If I'm already being contacted by the collection agency, but pay the hospital directly, dont they have to stop collection efforts?

thanks everyone in advance!

I have dealt with PMS and had no problems with a removal. You were denied for the PATIENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM"? Bummer. I know the hospitals will work with you, in fact if you did not have insurance most hospitals will take 50%. Also PMS set up a payment plan for me $10 a month.
