Another LVNV success!

This month is starting off pretty awesome....

I get this gem from the BBB this morning:

Dear Ms. BBB:

This letter is a follow-up to our correspondence dated April 30, 2012 regarding the above referenced account. Unfortunately, we were unable to obtain account documentation from Arrow Financial Services, LLC; therefore, this account has been closed. A request to delete the LVNV tradeline will be submitted to the three major consumer reporting agencies during the next reporting cycle. Please allow 30-45 days for this update to occur. Mr. Dukes should receive no further communication from our office regarding this account.

You have no clue how happy I am at the moment. I want to thank everyone on the board for the information I've gathered.

Yup! Same letter I received... its June 13th,, you'll see it fall off around the 25th of June is my guess...

Also, you might wanna edit out Ms. XXXX name off the letter..

I'm waiting on a response from them after I rejected their original response to my BBB complaint. Praying I get a letter like yours...they're my LAST baddie!

Those who've gotten that message....how long did it really take? I don't really want to close out the complaint until I know it's gone for sure, but it will automatically close in a week if I don't reply.

Should I reply asking for confirmation when they do send the request for deletion in? I'd really love something sent by mail too. Maybe I'm being overzealous?

Thanks to you, Scott, I sent a complaint to BBB for no dunning today. I have had them on my credit since September. They didn't respond to a DV, so I thought I'd try this. I would also like to know how long it took for your responses. Thanks and congrats to all who had success!

It took 19 days from response to deletion... Scott

mrordinary, I did the same with the BBB and it was about 2-3 weeks from complaint to deletion. somewhere around that time frame i think. good luck

Does anyone know how long LVNV has to respond if I reject their initial response? I rejected it back on 6/4...still waiting for them to reply again. The wait is KILLING me!

I started this process in early April...so it's taken two months so far. Hopefully, this will be gone sooner than later!

Gone from TU and EQ as of this morning...come on EX.

No score bump on my TU FAKO...but at least my "auto insurability" went up from Fair to Good...oh well.

I haven't seen it gone from my reports yet I'm going car shopping this week and wanted it gone by now. Oh well just will have to take the bbb letter along with me

Just wondering if anyone has had any negative results from filing BBB complaints such as these in this thread. Meaning, did any new negative information (such re-aging, etc.) pop up on your reports as a direct result from the complaint. I'm preparing to file some complaints, but don't want it to backfire and make things worse. Thanks.

I just filed my BBB complaint for no dunning. Hoping to hear something positive within the next few weeks. All these good outcomes give me hope.

When you fill out the BBB complaint, do you need to put your SSN?

No don't put your SSN. I just copied and pasted the account number that was listed on my credit report.

LVNV finally removed the account I submitted the BBB complaint for no dunning. It took them 30 days and it's removed from Exquifax and Transunion but not Experian yet. I didn't see a bump in score yet though
