Dragging score down?

I have an WFNNB card that was sold to another company a while ago. The original account (with some baddies paid in full) is still on my CRs. Will the CRA remove this original card?

Also, my student loans have been sold several times, is it possible to get the old accounts removed from my CRs? I know student loans can be tough.

So the WFNNB card is paid off? Is it closed? Was it a charge off? Are your student loans paid off?

The WFNNB has long since been paid off without charge off but still open and active. The student loans I am still paying on, but just consolidated.

If the account was sold and still open and active to a new company then I don't believe they will delete it. They should just carry over the same information onto their system.

Dang! I know on Equifax it is reporting 3 times! I think I can get that fixed. Thanks for the info!
