Hi i created this thread to let everyone sharing their credit file rebuild successful story..So dont be afraid to share your story here. So everyone would learn and get answer from what you had done ( might be similar to your file) and we would help each other out for a better score and better life. To make it simple just tell us about how did you do for your credit report and credit score....after 1 years......

Let me share mine first

First start 580

Now 660 wow 100 diffrent....

Baddie remove :

30 days sallie mae..

1 authorite user with mutiple 90 days late.......

1 collection remove

Baddie remain

1 collection (disputed right now)

2 charge off account with $0 balance...

So after 3 baddie thing remove on my credit file....I would see 100 points increase.....thats my succesful story so far...i know i have more to work on but just want to share my story and thank everyone in here for your help tactics and trick to get rid of those file without you guys i dont know where i standing on now....

How did you get the Sallie mae one removed? I would love to get one removed from there. Of course mine is a lot worse than just a 30 day! I'm in the process of asking for 2 from 2 years ago to get removed from my car loan and one from last summer from my best buy card after I moved. I've seen an increase from 594-642 in the last month from just lowering my util to about 25% from 99. Woo hoo!

i got late payment in 2010 i sent a message to their advocate department and someone sent me email back about 15 days they said they going to remove it for me......very simple and she very nice...

Do you happen to have their contact information? If you would PM me with it I'd be really grateful. Ive been trying to have a 90 day late removed from them.

I started rebuilding my credit in march of this year. Started in the lower 500's. I'm reaching the higher 500's now. But I have improved enough to be accepted for a new car loan without a cosigner and two unsecured CC's. I have 5 collections remaining (midland credit management, lvnv, univ of phoenix, and two utility companies) all with zero balances. I'm on my second set of GW letters. The first set I mailed off got one account removed. I also have the 90 day late with sallie Mae.

I have a utilization of 35% (working on lowering it) on 3 cards. One card hasn't reported yet. And my car loan was approved today, so it's not reporting yet either.

I think I am in a really good place to build my score from here on out. I just hope more GW letters work.
