Congrats! I'm thinking about applying for a secured with them proabably in Jan or Feb. I believe I have to wait because I applied for an unsecured and was denied like 45 days or so but I'm going to wait longer. I hope I can get good results like you.

Congratulations! A lot of forum folks are not fans of Cap One, but I for one have been pleased so far. They were my first card in my rebuild and so far I have not had any issues with them. I don't know if they still offer it, but there is a program called Credit Inform that I recommend. The scores are FAKO but there is other data that is helpful.

Congrats on the approval! Capital One has treated me right and gave me a $100 bump in unsecured credit after 6 months of paying on time. According to others on this forum, that is standard and you never really see more than that unless you get bumped to an unsecured card. An approval is a victory nonetheless!

Well I figure since I have messed up so much in the past that it is a victory for me and as long as I pay my bill on time every month surely it can't be too bad. No one else would give me a card so I didn't have much of a choice. I only had to pay the minimum deposit for the maximum limit, that's another plus for me. Now does anyone know how long after I pay the deposit it will take take to receive my card

They take about 14 days to clear the deposit so I would assume you'll get the card soon. I took got the $100 bump at 6 months. It would be nice if they matched it dollar for dollar after a certain amount of time. The card is okay. Interest rate blows considering its YOUR money..
