Has anyone had any luck getting 90 days late payments off of their Student Loan. The Bank on this account is AES is the holder of the loan. The account was opened in 2004 and the late charges are from 2009.

The only people with no luck are those that don't try! It's nice to get some reassurance sometimes when people tell you they have had luck, but don't let it discourage you to at least give it a shot. Obviously this does not apply when referring to specific lenders that have just proven time and time again that they will not budge but with some lenders you just have to give it a shot! Good luck!

It's a federal loan. I disputed once and they rejected. Was going to try again!!

if the are in default you could go the rehab route and that can wipe out lates...but if you are current best bet is the GW route
