back in the door with Walmart.....

woohoo!!! love it!!! it's under my husband but who cares, we are in the door!!! $600 instant approval after I put hubby's XMAS present in the cart - totaling $250..

will be paid asap but we are in!!! love these forums! Happy Thanksgiving All!

Would you mind explaining Walmart's shopping cart trick? Is there a pop-up, or are you just straight applying and crossing your fingers?

Congrats on the approval, that's great!

I don't know if walmart has a shopping cart trick. Although last week I went to apply while logged into walmart.com and instead of showing an application it showed I was pre-approved and had all my info filled out. Only asked me to complete DOB/Social and phone number. I got approved after verifying my ID over the phone and they never pulled my report.

Would you mind describing what actions you took to get the preapproval? Were you in the middle of checking out and clicked on "Apply"? I'm not getting anything.

I was logged in to my account at walmart.com. I had made two purchases in the last year, both around $20. I had nothing in my shopping cart, and on the walmart home page I clicked the "Apply Now" link on the bottom right of the page. It then took me to a pre-approval window showing the amount and my info filled in.

If you are clicking Apply Now and it just takes you to the regular complete application, then I assume there is no pre-approval offer.

It has been about 10 days and no HP, and all three bureaus are showing my new account.

Sorry for the late reply...just got back home..

I was logged into my walmart account and after shopping I was checking out. After choosing the ship to address and getting to the last page where they ask

for payment I scrolled down and there was the apply now link. It was a preapproval, just the regular application but once clicked it did auto fill all my husband's

information and waaaa laaaaaaaaaaaaaaa instant approval!!! Hope this helps...

Thanks for the reply. So there was no indication that you were going to be approved before clicking the submit button? My information autofills, too.
