Holy moly! +138 points TU FICO in 10 months!

Pretty excited over here! Went from 15 negative/collection accounts to 7 negative/collection accounts and util dropped from 97% to 42%.

Past due went from $22,359 to $0.00.

Also a quick question: How close is the MyFico score to the TUC FICO Classic 04 that my lender pulled on 11/15/12? That score was 557 just 1.5 months ago. I did have 6 negative accounts fall off since that was pulled but seems like a huge jump in 1.5 months (+111)

Congrats!

Difference between TU04 varies from person to person. When compared the same day with our mortgage lender, DW's TU04 was actually 30 points higher than her TU98. Mine went in the opposite direction. My TU04 was 10 points lower than my TU98 when compared the same day. A year later, I repulled TU04 and it was a few points higher than my TU98.

I don't know why TU has so many different versions. Why can't they be like the other 2? Ugh

It wasn't much of anything I did but more of just accounts ageing off after 7 years from Date of First Delinquency. I did get tunlit utilization down by paying off credit cards but the majority of the score increase came from bad accounts simply falling off.

Impressive! Very Cool! My TU04 was 2 pts less than 98; they were pulled 8 days apart.

Mike_B03..you did a great job at resolving most of your credit issues. I know it was hard work and in your case it truly payed off.
