Medical Collections Update

Have three medical collections.

Hospital Bill #1 Showing on TU, EXP, and EQ

Hospital Bill #2 Showing on TU, EXP, and EQ

Hospital Bill #3 Showing on TU, EXP, and EQ

I sent out the pre-HIPAA letter to the CRA.

Updated

Hospital Bill #1 Showing on EXP and EQ

Hospital Bill #2 Showing on TU, EXP and EQ

Hospital Bill #3 Showing on EXP and EQ

I then sent the HIPAA letter to the three OC's.

Heard back and Hospital Bill #1 stated that they would contact the CA to remove the account info.

Still waiting on other two.

Thanks to everyone for all your help so far. If it wasn't for you then I would have just let these sit there. Any idea on how long it will take for the collection to disappear? Should I send the copy of the letter to the CRA or just wait it out? Thanks again. I will keep everyone updated.

Are any balances due on these?

Nope, they are all paid. They are updated as paid on my credit report but it's such a difficult process to get them removed.

I will give them their 30 days. But the one already told me they were going to tell the CA to delete. How long do you think this will take for my credit report to reflect that.

Also...

The CRA's updated...well TU, updated in about 15 days, the others didn't bother to touch any of them.
