I wouldn't send any more GWs. A 30-day late from 2007 has zero impact on your FICO. Conversely, if this account is closed (assuming) then there's a risk of a deletion. If that happens and this account is older than your AAoA and/or your oldest revolving, then there's a good chance of a FICO drop.

Any newer lates or baddies reporting?

Send more GWs, I sent about a dozen each for 3 accounts. Just sent to the addrss on my CR, since then, they've deleted all negative information and I have positive, albeit closed now, accounts going back to 1995.

I'm new to the site and appreciate all of the helpful information. May I ask how long of "back on track" current payment history is recommended before requesting a goodwill adjustment to remove late payments?

Also jumping in to ask for email address for a GW. I had a family emergency and just received my first 30 day late in over 6 years. I'm so afriad of what it did to my score.
