new card question

Hi

So I just got a VS card and activated it - does it not show up/report on my CR until I use it?

I'm just wondering if I should charge something small ASAP and let it report a balance and get it on there...

Does it not show up on my CR until I do that? or will it show up anyway, whether I use it or not but just $0

My main issue is lack of revolving credit accounts, so I want it to get on there ASAP.

Some cards show up, some do not until you have a balance. i have a couple store cards not reporting because I have not used them

I would use it a little. It won't report until the first balance reports.

ok, I'll just order something small then, make sure it gets on there and starts reporting.
