YAY!!! I just looked at my TU report this morning like I always do and there it was, the alert that the account was removed!!

I don’t really know what got them to remove even after they validated the debt. I disputed them with all 3 credit bureaus and only Experian deleted. The other two reports came back verified. I have been emailing them asking them to validate with no response. I just recently filed a dispute with the BBB and also sent Transunion and Equifax letters stating that they must remove because the company did not give me all of the validation information I had asked for and attached multiple letters sent and the dates I had contacted them. So excited right now!!! Only thing is you think you would see an increase in score but nothing yet?? Oh well, at least I know my fico should go up in a few days from the removal. Now I am just working on Portfolio Recovery to get removed.

Good work! I have noticed over the past couple months that BBB route has been getting progressively more results with EOS-CCA -- emails have been hit or miss. I have given the email out like, 400 times (seriously) in the past 2 years.. maybe they are tiring of responding?? ha

When I first had it removed in 2011, the BBB complaint went nowhere..

Apparently today there is a kinder, gentler EOS-CCA -- They will still place junk debt on your files without dunnings, but hey, we'll remove it if you ask *rolls eyes*

I am really not sure what it was that got them to remove the account. I didnt receive anything back from BBB and I just filed it last week. Maybe it was too overwhelming for them! Ha I sent them about 3 lettters a week emailed about 100 times and then filed the comlaint lol

That is probably why they didnt reply ha But hey.. a removal is a removal!!!

Yay! Because of this removal my fico went up from 571 to 590! Closer to my goal score of 640! I started at a horrible 487 in January 13.
